Dixieland Delight.

As of October, 2011 - Kelley Finnegan and I will be moving to Nashville, TN. We visited this past weekend with two friends to do some apartment hunting and enjoy everything else the city had to offer. We decided on an apartment in the Hermitage area. It is really close to Percy Priest Lake (pictures below). Kelley and I are both very excited about the big move!

Turn it on, turn it up, and sing along

Everyone knows you can't have a good summer here in NOVA without a COUNTRY CONCERT!! An all day event hanging out with friends, tailgating, playing games, having a few cold beers and listening to great music. You can ask all of my friends and I am pretty sure they would all say that the number one thing they look forward to this summer are our tailgates! (Thank you to Dan and Cory for throwing one heck of a tailgate) Only two concerts left!! Here are a few from the past two we've had.

TO AMERICA!!!

Princess Julia

There is no explanation or background story needed for this little girl. She is just as smart and beautiful as her Mother, who just so happens to be a great friend of mine.

Good ol' Washington, D.C.

For some, April showers bring May flowers....for D.C. natives it brings CHERRY BLOSSOMS!! A little history for you -  Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo gave the gift of 3,000 cherry trees to the city of Washington, D.C. in 1912 to honor the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan. Today, more than a million people travel each year to admire the blossoming cherry trees and attend events that herald the beginning of spring in the nation’s capital. My Grandmother really loved going to see the Cherry Blossom trees each year. I know, she was with me the day I took these. (Helena Chaffee.1928-2010)
